Moalboal Pescador Island Scuba Diving Day Trip

Moalboal, on Cebu's southwest coast, is one of the country's great diving towns, and Pescador Island is its crown jewel. This guided day trip takes certified divers out to the tiny protected island, whose underwater cliffs drop into a maze of tunnels, caverns, and swim-throughs draped in soft coral. Reef life is prolific, white-tip reef sharks, schooling barracuda and jacks, and, in season, even thresher sharks passing through the blue.

Between dives you will experience Moalboal's most famous spectacle, the sardine run: millions of silver sardines swirling in shape-shifting tornadoes just off Panagsama Beach, often within easy reach of the shore. Green turtles are commonly seen grazing the reef here too, making for unforgettable encounters on a single outing.

The trip is designed for certified divers and includes guided dives with a divemaster, tanks, weights, and boat transfers; full gear rental and extra dives are usually available.
