About this tour
The thresher shark dive at Monad Shoal is one of diving's holy grails. Every morning between 5:30 and 8:00 AM, thresher sharks — with their extraordinarily long upper tail fins — ascend from the deep to be cleaned by wrasse and other cleaner fish at this seamount 25m below the surface. They swim slowly, elegantly, completely uninterested in divers. It is one of the most graceful things you will see underwater.
The 2D1N package includes: arrival by ferry from Cebu North Terminal, 4 guided dives (Monad Shoal morning dive, Gato Island for sea snakes and whitetip sharks, North Rock for big fish, and a night dive for mantas and other pelagics), a simple guesthouse room and breakfast.
