Apo Reef

The largest contiguous coral reef in the Philippines and one of the best dive sites in Asia. Located off the coast of Occidental Mindoro, accessible only by liveaboard. The wall dives, shark encounters and pristine coral are extraordinary. Plan 2-3 days minimum — the boat journey is 5-7 hours.
Getting there
Ferry from Batangas Port or fly to Puerto Princesa then bus/van.
Best time to visit
November to May — dry season with calm seas for island hopping.

El Nido island hopping, Coron wreck diving, Puerto Princesa Underground River, Port Barton beaches.
