Siquijor is the Philippines' most mysterious island — known for its healers, potions and witchcraft traditions that survive to this day. It's also genuinely beautiful. The circuit tour on a rented motorbike or habal-habal covers the island's highlights in one day.
Cambugahay Falls: a series of turquoise cascading pools in the jungle — you swing on a rope and drop into the clear water. Paliton Beach: a small, perfect bay with white sand and very few visitors. Balete Tree: a 400-year-old tree so large that people swim in the pool beneath it while fish nibble their feet. The local healers at San Antonio town (if you want) offer traditional healing sessions and traditional Bisaya potions (mananawal).
