Palawan Manta Ray Snorkeling — Linapacan

Set in the remote, ultra-clear waters of Linapacan, between El Nido and Coron, this snorkelling adventure heads out in search of reef manta rays in one of Palawan's most pristine and least-visited corners. Linapacan is regularly ranked among the clearest waters on earth, and on a calm day the visibility makes spotting these gentle giants from the surface an unforgettable thrill as they glide and barrel-roll while feeding or visiting reef cleaning stations.

The day combines the manta search with classic Linapacan island hopping: stops at vivid coral gardens, secluded sandbars and empty white-sand beaches where you can swim in water so clear the boat appears to float on air. Because this area sees only a fraction of the crowds of El Nido and Coron, the experience feels genuinely wild and uncrowded, more expedition than tourist tour.

Manta rays are wild animals, so encounters are a privilege rather than a guarantee, with the best chances around deeper channels and reef slopes.
