Palawan Kayak & Camp — El Nido to Coron
About this tour
This is the legendary 7-day sea kayaking expedition through the Linapacan archipelago, the chain of uninhabited islands that sits between El Nido and Coron in northern Palawan. Paddling roughly 6 to 8 kilometres a day, you trace a route across some of the clearest water on earth, weaving between karst islets, sandbars and reefs that no ferry or organised day tour ever reaches. Each evening you pull your kayak up onto a different deserted beach and camp under the stars, cooking fresh fish bought from passing fishermen over an open fire.
Linapacan is regularly ranked among the clearest waters in the world, and on this trip you spend a full week inside that seascape. Expect long open-water crossings, snorkelling stops over untouched coral, freshwater stops in tiny fishing villages, and total disconnection from phone signal and crowds. This is a genuine wilderness adventure, not a resort holiday. A support boat shadows the group carrying tents, food, fresh water and your luggage, so you paddle light and safe.
The expedition runs point to point, finishing in Coron town where you can decompress with a hot shower and a cold San Miguel. It suits reasonably fit travellers who want to earn their views, comfortable spending consecutive nights in a tent and swimming daily. No previous kayaking experience is required, though basic ocean confidence helps.

About the area
Northern Palawan stretches from El Nido's towering limestone cliffs up through the scattered, largely uninhabited islands of Linapacan and on to Coron's WWII wrecks and emerald lagoons. The Linapacan corridor in the middle is the least developed and most pristine stretch, a maze of sandbars, fishing hamlets and reefs famed for water clarity, making it the ultimate stage for a multi-day sea kayaking journey.
