Pagudpud Beach Tour
About this tour
Pagudpud sits at the far northern tip of Ilocos Norte and is often called the Boracay of the North for its long stretches of fine white sand. This full-day tour links the region's most spectacular coastal and scenic highlights into one unforgettable loop, starting with Saud Beach, the powdery, palm-lined shore that first put Pagudpud on the map.
From the coast the route climbs to the Bangui Windmills, a row of twenty giant turbines marching along the shoreline, then continues to the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, where wind and waves have sculpted brilliant white limestone into otherworldly shapes (the name means whiteness in Ilocano). You will also cross the soaring Patapat Viaduct, a 1.3-kilometre elevated coastal bridge that ranks among the longest in the country, with the mountains of the Cordillera dropping straight into the sea below.
Many tours also include a short trek to Kabigan Falls, an 87-foot cascade hidden in lush forest, and a sunset stop back at the beach. It is a classic Ilocos Norte day out that pairs raw natural drama with the laid-back beach culture of the north.
