Manila Day Trip to Tagaytay — Taal Volcano View & Farm Restaurants
About this tour
Tagaytay sits on a ridge 600m above sea level, 60km south of Manila, and commands one of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Philippines: Taal Volcano rising from the middle of Taal Lake, which sits inside an ancient larger caldera. The view is extraordinary — a volcano in a lake in a volcano.
The day includes the Tagaytay Ridge viewpoint (and the People's Park viewpoint), lunch at one of the famous cliff-top restaurants (Leslie's, Josephine's or Antonio's, depending on the package), and a drive through the cool highland air past flower farms and strawberry fields. Optional add-on: horse ride on the Taal lakeside or the Taal Volcano island trek (separate fee, requires PHIVOLCS alert Level 0).
