About this tour

Honda Bay is Puerto Princesa's own island-hopping playground, a sheltered lagoon dotted with white-sand islets and spectacular coral gardens just 12 km from the city. While most visitors rush straight to El Nido or Coron, Honda Bay rewards those who linger in Puerto Princesa with world-class snorkelling, powder-sand beaches, and far fewer crowds.

The itinerary typically visits three islands. Luli Island — short for "lulubog-lilitaw" (rises and sinks with the tide) — is a sandbar that dramatically appears and disappears twice a day, creating a magical walk-on-water effect at low tide. Starfish Island lives up to its name with dozens of brightly coloured sea stars in the shallow waters, perfect for snorkelling and Instagram-worthy photos. Pandan Island rounds out the day with a fuller beach, nipa-hut shade, and a freshwater rinse.

All meals, snorkelling gear, and life jackets are provided. The boat departs from Santa Lourdes Wharf, and the tour includes an island hopper (bangka) with crew for the whole day. Honda Bay is included in Puerto Princesa's environmental fee, so sustainability is built into every ticket. Come early — the best light for underwater photography is in the morning.
