El Nido Kitesurfing Lessons — Duli Beach

Duli Beach, a four-kilometre stretch of golden sand about 45 minutes north of El Nido town, is Palawan's premier kitesurfing spot, and this lesson gets you flying. During the Amihan season, roughly November to April, steady offshore winds combine with a sandy bottom and flat, open water to create near-perfect conditions for learning to kiteboard. With far fewer crowds than other kite destinations, you get space and clean wind to progress quickly under the guidance of certified instructors.

This three-hour session covers the essentials, from setting up and controlling the kite to body-dragging and your first attempts at getting up on the board, all in a safe, beginner-friendly setting. The schools at Duli have been pioneering the sport in the El Nido area since the early 2010s, running proper IKO-standard instruction with quality equipment. The wide, shallow lagoon-like water means you can practice without obstacles and without fighting heavy chop.
