Cagayan de Oro Whitewater Rafting
About this tour
The Cagayan de Oro River is one of the best whitewater rafting rivers in Southeast Asia — 14km of Class II–IV rapids running through a jungle gorge. The standard route takes 2–3 hours to complete, paddling through rapids with names like "Frightening Eight," "Rock-a-Bye Baby" and "The Wall."
CDO rafting is suitable for first-timers from age 7. The guides are experienced and the equipment is well-maintained. Dry season (March–August) has consistent grade III–IV rapids. Wet season (September–February) has higher water levels and more powerful (sometimes grade V) rapids — more intense, less suitable for beginners.
