About this tour

Experience Boracay's underwater world without lifting a finger to learn how to dive. This helmet diving (or aquanaut) adventure lets absolute beginners, non-swimmers, and even those wearing glasses walk along the seabed with a large, air-supplied helmet over the head, breathing completely normally the whole time. No certification, swimming ability, or prior experience is needed, hence the name.

After a quick safety briefing and a short speedboat ride from White Beach, a PADI-qualified instructor places the helmet onto your shoulders and accompanies you down a ladder to a depth of about 3 to 5 meters. There you stroll across the sandy bottom surrounded by coral and clouds of colourful tropical fish, with sunlight still streaming down to keep the reef bright and vivid.

The underwater walk lasts around 15 minutes, and instructors usually feed the fish so they swarm right up to you and snap souvenir photos. With everything provided and the whole experience taking about an hour, it is the easiest and most accessible way to come face to face with Boracay's marine life.
