Baguio City
CAR · Benguet
Baguio is the Philippines' cool-weather escape at 1,500 metres — a city of pine trees, strawberry farms, and weekend markets that feels like nowhere else in the tropics. The Burnham Park boating lake, the BenCab Museum (genuinely world-class), the Mines View Park strawberries, and Session Road's coffee shops make for an easy two-day wander. It gets very cold by Philippine standards (12–16°C in January) — bring layers. The 5-hour bus from Manila is an easy overnight trip. Great base for day trips
